About

So, I was instructed to submit a short bio to G20VOICE. Needless to say, bios are always a mortifying experience.

Born in the Southern Hemisphere but raised in Scandinavia, Montserrat Nicolas lives her consultant life in Washington DC with her kid and long-suffering mate. Since 2005, she combats the notorious lack of information on hemispheric affairs in Latin America through her blog CURVAS POLITICAS.  A simple blog that demands more accountability from ‘the powers that be’, and pushes for a real space for women in politics. She’s a columnist, and somehow (between her more boring campaign communications strategies, and regional analysis) wrote a book, which looks at the differences among poets, politicians and intellectuals. She is a true believer in the galactic swapping of knowledge, and in clogging up the googleian memory with hard facts.”
